DAVID + STEPHANIE // SURPRISE CRYSTAL COVE PROPOSAL

The romantic misty coastal fog, still lingering. The air, salty and crisp. My heart thumping to the beat of my footsteps. I turn at the bend and there they are. Try to keep up. Not too close. She looks over her shoulder. I turn the other way. One, two, three. Turn back around. Try to keep up. Not too close. There's the spot we talked about. The lookout on the cliff, overlooking the mysteriously alluring ocean. Wait for it. There he goes. Fight the tears. Oh, so romantic!

PAM + KHA // MODERN BLUSH GARDEN GROVE WEDDING

The Noguchi Garden was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful, classic yet modern, couple. The warm Southern California sun was shining. The air, more brisk since the turn of fall. Deep breath. Close your eyes. Hold one another. Take in the moment.  All these soft spoken words flew from my lips and landed upon their shoulders. A moment, paused. A squeeze of the hand. A gentle smile, forming. Soaking in these short minutes of just the two of them; as husband and wife, before the big bridal party joins to celebrate with them. A quiet reflection of realizing you are now married to your soul mate, your best friend. Couples portraits after the wedding ceremony are one of my favorite times during a wedding day. The love radiating from Pam and Kha was truly magical.

In a few short weeks, baby Maliwat will be snuggled up alongside Blaire and Andrew.

Fall had just officially started. Yet, the weather still wanted it to be summer. The sun was hot. The leaves, starting to change. ALLISON + CHRIS // CALIFORNIA CLIFFSIDE WEDDING

It was the most perfect Southern California weather to be getting married. The sun, shining. The breeze, cool from the ocean mist. Allison and Chris, ready to make the ultimate commitment of love at the beautiful cliffside Cannon's restaurant in Dana Point.

The guests grew quiet. The music began to play. I shifted into place at the front of the aisle. I looked to my left. Ready. Standing. Breathing. Deep breaths. These last few moments before he sees his bride. Finally, the look. That first glimpse of his perfect, beautiful bride. He gasped. Grabbed his chest like he got the wind knocked out of him. Closed his eyes tightly and reopened them, as if he was waking from a dream. Only to realize his dream had come true. As Allison approached the floral arch and reached for Chris' hand, their eyes met, and their smiles widened.
